I have been a devout Hurricane runner for years, but recently have been disappointed with v11/v12. I found both versions of the shoe to be heavier than their predecessors and actually take awhile to break-in (especially around the big toe). However, immediatley upon putting on my new 13's, the shoe fit better and was noticebly lighter. My first run with the shoe also was flawless, with no "break-in" pains or "softening" required. I am VERY happy with the new 13's and hope they do not tinker too much with this formula going forward.

I am very sad to report that even though I had this (seemingly popularly reviewed) shoe fitted at a store by a professional, I could see the area above my big toe wore out within 2 weeks.Now I know what you are thinking... surely this guy needs to learn what nail clippers are for. I can assume you I am a dedicated nail trimmer that likes to keep the nails on his toes right down with no sharp edges.My advise - try a different shoe or get a written guarantee from the store/seller about refunds from poor products. I wish I had
