Fits a touch longer and slightly narrower than the 2's, also more rigid

Well. I was surprised, these are very different than the 2's. This is only my first workout in them but I noticed they are more strait, while the 2's are a little curved (walking is more of a rolling motion like gliding), these also fit slightly longer but a little narrower in the forefoot. They also feel less bouncy and more rigid especially in the heel, I guess the best comparison is the 2's were like a Cadillac, while these are like a Porsche. They are a bit lower as well. The tread feels a little stickier as well, great traction (except on wet tile, BEWARE!). So far so good, they seem to give the same great cushioning with a little less bounce.

Finally, Mizuno said "good bye" to the cheap thin plastic strusts

Prophecy 2 was no improvement, just different upper with no noticeable progress.FINALLY, they abandoned their traditional plastic struts and made new ones, wider and more substantial. It firms the ride, more shock absorbtion.The only minus is indeed - dangerous under wet conditions. Extremely slippery, so watch youself.And of course, price is out of proportion...
