great looking shoe, but will have to go back...wish I would have taken the advice of the other reviewers. I am a women's size 9. Should have bought the 8.5

Best pair of Inov-8's I've had

This is my third pair of Inov-8, and by far the best pair. I work out 5-6 days a week - rope climbs, lifting, box jumps, etc. I am pretty hard on shoes. I had a pair of "zero lift" pair of Inov-8 (I forget the model#) which I didn't like, then I had a pair of F-lite 250 which were better for my workouts (a little lift for running, but kept me in a better position for lifting). The F-Lite 262 has the same lift of the F-250, but is a little heavy and has a more durable sole - particularly for road running or rope climbing.Go with a 1/2 size lower than you would wear on a regular pair of shoes. They run a little big.

Great shoe for Crossfit

I tried on the 240 at a local store and it was way too narrow so I decided to buy the 262 since it has a wider footbed. The width does fit much better, but based on the length of the 195 and 240, I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear in an athletic shoe. Unfortunately, the 262 is much truer to size and as a result, I don't have much "wiggle" room in the length. Other than the length issue, the shoe performs great and I've already noticed that my form on lifts is much better with the flatter stance (compared to my Asics running shoes) and the shoe's light weight is extremely beneficial as well. Also, the 262 has plenty of cushion for my runs on our box's packed dirt and gravel track, and it gives me the protection I was looking for when running over small rocks and ruts.
