light and sturdy

i was a little skeptical about the build quality of salomon shoes, as the last one i owned jettisoned its entire tread and sole. i must add that it was several years old, so i sure the glue just became brittle. it was well built and durable before its death throe.so far, this shoe has impressed me and is virtually flawless. i appreciate its light weight, ease of cinching up the laces, and the sole provides good grip and very good support. the mesh fabric breathes very well to the point i can sometimes feel a cool breeze through the shoe; although i suspect it will not provide much protection in wet conditions save for the toe cap. i have fallen arches, and my feet feel quite comfortable without the need to replace the insole. tread design is aggressive and grippy, but seems to wear out quickly.

Just what I wanted

This is a very comfortable trail shoe for those with hight arches and wear on the outside of their shoes. I also really like the quick lace system which is one of the main reasons I purchased these. it makes it very easy to get on and off. This is my second pair of Salomon's and really like them

Great shoe! It is perfect for my feet, and is incredibly comfortable when I go on my runs! I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who runs on a regular basis!
