My second pair. The original aquas are the ONLY shoes I have ever had that I can wear all day ever day without feeling like my feet get fatigued and it would be a relief to change my shoes. It all started years ago when I saw a friend wearing terra plana's in NYC, and then went to the store, where these were on sale. I have the runners also, which are good for running, but the aqua is the best thing that has ever been on my feet, and I believe many parts of my body are healthier due to the 'barefoot' effects. I am very active and kinesthetically trained, so I believe this is real.HOWEVER: Do ease into them if it's your first barefoot-style shoe. I wore them only every other day or so for about the first 4-6 weeks. after that it was all gravy and I've never looked back. Now I just want them to bring back better color choices. My fear is that the aqua is going to get phased out and replaced with cheaper, less-engineered models. This is what the Aqua Lite looks like to me. The Aqua has amazing venting and flex, but requires a lot of pieces and stitching and materials. It is a work of perfection and beauty and will therefore probably disappear as the company grows and rides the reputation shoes like the aqua created. That is the norm.
