I ended up returning these shoes since the fit was not right for my foot. I was surprised when I took them out how heavy they were. The spring loaded end is distinctly heavier than the front. The overall construction and materials are very nicely done. They use the a plastic style netting over the upper material to produce a nice look. Walking in them took some getting use to since the spring gives you a slightly delayed bounce. You definitely know its a spring and not gel, or air pod under your heal.They include a second sole liner with instruction to install prior to wearing. This reduces the volume of the shoe which is quite cavernous without it. If you find the shoe liner too tight you remove the second sole liner and use the one that it came with. Its sort of unique to this shoe to have two to try out and improve the fit. If your looking for a mechanical bounce in the heal this is your shoe. As I said for me the heal height to forefoot spread left my arch suspended and I knew it wouldn't work for me. Of course every foot is different.
