A different shoe than the Omni 11

Slightly tighter fit across the top of the shoe than the Omni 11 in my sample. Same toe box room. I have a thin, low volume foot with a medium arch. I measure 11.5 narrow in men's. I ordered a size 12 D and it's a good fit. This shoe has a very different feel than the Omni 11. The ride is not quite as soft, the shoe is not quite as tall, and I feel more connected to the ground. It is also much harder to roll your ankle in this shoe. I miss the super soft ride of the 11 but I don't miss having to be super cautious so that I don't turn my ankle. This shoe is also faster than the 11. The 11 is like running in soft snow. Well cushioned but tiring.I love the flat shoe laces! You can tie them once in the morning and they will not work loose no matter how long you wear them. The rubber compound also grips granite extremely well, (I know climbing is not the intended purpose but it's a nice bonus).I am 55 years old, 175 pounds and have scar tissue in both ankles. In this shoe I feel well supported and haven't had any inflammation issues with either ankle.Recommended.

Great shoe

I've owned the omni running shoe since the 9 series. This one keeps the tradition of a great feeling and fitting shoe going. I only dock it one star because it feels like they have removed some stability on the outside of the shoe from the last generation.

Even Better Looking than Picture

I love Saucony. I can feel the wind blow through the mesh which really helps to cool off my feet. The wide fit is perfect and the shoes look better in person than in the picture.
