The new adidas adipower barricade 7.0 lives up to its reputation as the ultimate hard court tennis shoe with new features, such as the "claw", which increases the ability to stay upright, and gives you exceptional traction while moving on the court, the TPU 3-stripes which enhances top stability in the forefoot, and the molded EVA insole, providing players with comfort while playing tennis. Unlike the other baricade shoes, the adipower 7.0 also has more flexibility in the forefoot, has a seamless upper construction for comfort, and is 1.06 ounces lighter. The adipower barricade 7.0 also has some older features from previous barricades, such as the adiPRENE in the heel and forefoot for shock absorption and comfort, as well as the torsion system for stability.Colors: White/Iron/Black. they are not as heavy duty as i expected. the quality of the support around the heal and the foot itself. in other words the shoe does not have the support to keep your foot as stable. it allows your foot to move inside the shoe to much. these were recommended by a man here who used to have a shoe store. he said the 5 & 6 were very good. he also said the same thing about this shoe.

Using it for martial arts. Other shoes haven't been holding up to the vigorous training on cement floors; kicking tires, "shocking" the horse. My first pair after seeing that my son's pair lasted about 9 months. Other shoes lucky to have lasted even 6 months. So far the 2 peeves are that they are not as breathable and a bit heavy on the feet.
