Part of the Road range that Inov8 produce, these shoes are designed primarily for urban running; the streets of the city and the paths of parks. That means as soon as you step foot outside the door you're shoes are as ready as you are.As far as barefoot running road shoes go, this is the closest your sole will get to the ground due to shoe's construction with no differential or midsole.The exclusive sticky rubber compound which has been specially developed using climbing rubber technology. This rubber optimizes grip in wet conditions, however the trade off is it wears down quicker. With no Shoc Zone this is perfect for runners and athletes that want a minimalist shoe.The Bare-X sole is particularly hard, making it durable enough to withstand the pound of the streets.

I got these shoes because they were highly compared to the EVO 2 Vibrams.I do martial arts and after a month or two the seams began coming undone. Now, six months of semi-regular wear later, there is a hole worn in the bottom of my right shoe and the left is close to follow.They look great though and my vanity appreciates that part but they should have lasted longer than they did.

I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable & flexible to run in. They look & fit like a glove. Just a nice bit of padding support to back of ankle/achilles area. Good toe box - roomy.

I use this shoe to workout at crossfit and it's proven to be great for a few reasons.- The fit like slippers. Very light, very flexible. Doesn't feel like it will be enough protection out on the open road, but for me it has been just perfect. One exception I did find, was running on rocky or bumpy terrain - I could feel the pointed rocks in my feet. Just keep these on mostly smooth surfaces.- Styling is pretty cool. They build quality seems durable even with the flexible construction.- If you are already acclimated to running in a minimal shoe (thin sole, zero or minimal drop between heel and toe), the transition will be great. I thought these would be hard to run on (the sole is very very thin), but I found if I keep focused while running to land relaxed with mid-sole contact with the ground, it was actually far better. My legs felt less stress than with the minimal shoes.- You can lift heavy weight without losing power into a squishy sole.With all of the above in mind, I highly recommend these.
