The medium profile, cushioned midsole provides excellent under foot comfort while the fascia band aids propulsion.

Bought these for a 4 month trip as my one pair...mistake!

Not even 2 months of wear and there is a hole in the side of the shoe by the small toe. I won't be getting back to Canada for another 2 months and will probably have to carry them around Nepal for 2 more months if I want a return.

Comfortable shoe for off the road runs

Good fit for running on trails. Haven't been able to test the gore-tex yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine as long as the water doesn't go above the entire shoe. Nice and bouncy shoe; looking forward to running with it for Tough Mudder. Only critique is that for my feet, I have to use and insole as the the inside feels flat for my feet. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Great Fit and Comfortable

I never heard of this brand, but the athletics trainer for my two teenage sons recommended them and they said they were the most comfortable shoes they ever had. I ordered a pair for myself and totally agree.

Functionally not satisfied :(

Really wanted to make it work... but couldn't. Ran on trails couple of times and felt good grip on flat and broken trails, but my right ankle didn't get comfortable fit in this shoe. I think this right shoe (atleast the one i received) is weirdly tilted inwards!Also per this shoe's size chart, I ordered 44 to get US 10.5m equivalent, but 44 will definitely fit feet of size 11 or 11.5.So go half to one size smaller if you're going to buy it.

These are my first pair of flat shoes and they are comfortable, well put together, and clean up extremely well.Your feet also stay dry when in damp conditions.I've done three 4 mile runs in these on a flat trail. They gripped very well on sprint take offs. My only complaint is running in these seemed to be harder on my shins - more so in my first run than in my third, so this may what happens when moving from highly cushioned running shoes to this flat ones.Also, as note elsewhere, the shoes is wider than normal.I normally run about 25 miles a week in Asics / Brooks, size 9 with normal width. I ordered 9M US and these fit properly.

Firmer and more supportive than regular air max 2012

I have both this shoe and the regular air max 2012 running shoe. Both are awesome. This one is just a bit heavier but supports the ankle a lot better. It's just a much stiffer shoe. It feels like there may be more air pressure in the pocket. I'm not an expert, but the air max 2012 is lightweight and feels almost like you're not wearing a shoe, and this one is just a more durable rugged version. Like maybe for running, but off road or something. I like it. I love it. They look great. You should get them you'll be glad you did.

False advertising

I filtered my search to find stability shoes and found these among just a few choices. They are described as stability shoes, but they have one major flaw. There is no arch in these shoes.Other minor flaws include the upper tongue. It is stifling with some pressure points.As for what I like about the shoe, the material feels of good quality. The front part with the navy blue felt does not show scratch marks as with other shoes where a single stroke of the finger nail will leave a streak.

Very comfortable, typical Puma style

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box.I had worn-out a pair of Puma Fast Cat's and didn't like the way the fabric heel area separated from the foot bed. These are both more comfortable than the Fast Cat's and the leather-like inner heal area shouldn't have the same issue (I hope).The color seemed darker on Puma's website, but I think it's accurately reflected in the picture here. These are borderline "old man" shoes (no offense to old men), but the nu-buck inserts break-up the monotone enough to give them some style. I work in a place that is traditionally business formal, but I will use these to dress down suits on casual days. They look good with jeans, as well.The size does run small (as with most Puma's). I normally wear between a 10.5 - 11.5 and I ended up getting 11.5 in these shoes, and they are jsut ever so small. A 12 would have been better for me.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

I got these because I am in Law Enforcement and am now in the training process for high risk security, I needed something stable, athletic, water resistant, and comfortable. These shoes are awesome if you want to know what these shoes are like it feels like a pair of New Balance mated with a pair of Sanuk sidewalk surfers. You get that planted to the ground comfortable, balanced feel that you receive from the Sanuk's with the added ability for your toes to sprawl out while walking the way God intended a foot to work... You also get the shock absorbing performance of a pair of New Balance running shoes with a robust yet light weight upper. The gore tex makes for dry feet all day long and when you take them off your feet feel fresh. In all honesty I do not believe I will ever buy anything other that Treksta's in my future training endeavors.

Best shoe ever !

I was on the hunt for an ideal pair of trail runners for an around the world trip.I wanted something that would be as comfortable to wear all day walking around town, as it would be for day hikes & trail running.I originally bought a pair of the Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX Trail shoes. Nice shoe, and I love the kevlar lacing system.The Salomon's ended up being too tight and narrow, plus the arch is too high and was causing me pain.I knew they wouldn't work for me. I needed something I could live in day and night for the next year.Back to the drawing board.I read a review on Backpacker.com I had never heard of TrekSta before. After doing my research, I decided to give them a shot, and couldn't be happier.Straight out of the box these shoes were incredibly comfortable. I've been wearing them straight for the last few weeks. Absolutely no break-in time required. I've worn them for all day walking, trail running, and even jogging over slick cobble stones. Great grip and comfort.Most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn.My father who recently had a full knee replacement surgery, is planning on buying a pair for himself, after having tried mine on. (He won't be doing any trail running, but it was the comfort, support and fit that sold him)

great shoe

This is my second pair....the first pair are still going (after 3 years of abuse) just the grip has worn out. Please note, I dont use them as trail running shoes, I prefer others. I use them as a general casual walking/hiking shoe. Great for winter, feet stay dry, extremely comfortable and well supported, the lace up system is super. Very rugged and look great. In fact the positives of this shoe are also a negative as a trail running shoe. It really depends on the clmate. I live in a warm climate, I used my first pair once on a trail run and all their pros became negatives. 1/ goretex not only keeps the wet out, but the sweat in. 2/ too heavy for trail running ....prefer much lighter shoes.3/ Sole is not very flexible, so tires out feet and calves on firm surfaces. That said, the fact I initially bought these shoes for trail running and have bought another pair speaks volumes.

If you owned one before read!

My husband had a pair for years and loved them!!! So he finally got a new pair. He is a size 10! But the old ones he got were a 10.5 and kind of small. So we ordered an 11. It was too big. So was the 10.5. They must of fixed the problem with there sizing. So please order it in your size. Love the shoe!!!
