Nice shoe but you may want to get a half size larger than standard. Toe box is smaller than other shoes.

I got these because I am in Law Enforcement and am now in the training process for high risk security, I needed something stable, athletic, water resistant, and comfortable. These shoes are awesome if you want to know what these shoes are like it feels like a pair of New Balance mated with a pair of Sanuk sidewalk surfers. You get that planted to the ground comfortable, balanced feel that you receive from the Sanuk's with the added ability for your toes to sprawl out while walking the way God intended a foot to work... You also get the shock absorbing performance of a pair of New Balance running shoes with a robust yet light weight upper. The gore tex makes for dry feet all day long and when you take them off your feet feel fresh. In all honesty I do not believe I will ever buy anything other that Treksta's in my future training endeavors.

I was on the hunt for an ideal pair of trail runners for an around the world trip.I wanted something that would be as comfortable to wear all day walking around town, as it would be for day hikes & trail running.I originally bought a pair of the Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX Trail shoes. Nice shoe, and I love the kevlar lacing system.The Salomon's ended up being too tight and narrow, plus the arch is too high and was causing me pain.I knew they wouldn't work for me. I needed something I could live in day and night for the next year.Back to the drawing board.I read a review on Backpacker.com I had never heard of TrekSta before. After doing my research, I decided to give them a shot, and couldn't be happier.Straight out of the box these shoes were incredibly comfortable. I've been wearing them straight for the last few weeks. Absolutely no break-in time required. I've worn them for all day walking, trail running, and even jogging over slick cobble stones. Great grip and comfort.Most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn.My father who recently had a full knee replacement surgery, is planning on buying a pair for himself, after having tried mine on. (He won't be doing any trail running, but it was the comfort, support and fit that sold him)
