I GOT ABOUT 200 MILES OUT OF THIS SHOE WHICH IS RIGHT ABOUT WHAT I EXPECTED, BECAUSE I AM ABOUT 20LBS OVER WEIGHT. IF YOU LOOK AROUND YOU WILL SEE ADVANCED RUNNERS CLAIMING TO GET UP TO 300MILES OUT OF A SHOE, BUT IT'S NOT THE QUALITY OF THE SHOE THAT EXTENDS THE LIFE. IT'S BECAUSE ADVANCED RUNNERS TEND TO BE IN BETTER SHAPE, (LIGHTER IN WEIGHT) AND THAT CAN USUALLY PROLONG THE LIFE OF A SHOE'S MIDSOLE.THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS SHOE IS VERY MUCH COMPARABLE TO ANY NIKE, REEBOK, OR ADDIDAS SHOE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. I HAVE RAN IN THEM ALL AT ALL PRICES, (EXCEPT MIZUNO. JUST NOT INTERESTED IN MIZUNO) I'M NOT SAYING IT'S AS GOOD OR BETTER, BUT I AM SAYING THE SHOE IS COMPARABLE IN COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE.I'VE LEARNED THAT NO MATTER WHAT SHOE I BUY, AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MILEAGE THE MIDSOLE WILL BEGIN TO LOSE ITS COMFORT. EVEN WHEN I SPEND OVER A $100 FOR A RUNNING SHOE IT'S PRETTY MUCH A GUARANTEE THAT THE SHOE WILL LOSE ITS COMFORT AFTER ABOUT 3 MONTHS.I RECOMMEND THIS SHOE BECAUSE YOU WILL SAVE MONEY AND HAVE A GREAT PERFORMANCE SHOE. ONE QUICK NOTE: THE AVIA OUTERSOLE WILL SOMETIMES WEAR DOWN FASTER THAN NIKE, ADDIDAS, OR REEBOK.. THIS USUALLY HAPPENS WITH THEIR FOAM OUTERSOLE MODELS. BUT... DON'T LET THAT FOOL YOU. BY THE TIME THAT HAPPENS YOU GOT YOUR USE OF THE SHOE AND IT WILL BE TIME TO REPLACE THE SHOE ANYWAYS. YES, THE OTHER SHOES COMPANIES SOMETIMES MAKE A BETTER OUTERSOLE, BUT YOU ARE STILL GOING TO GET YOUR 200-300 MILES OUT OF THE SHOE. UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY OUT OF SHAPE, THEN YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE YOUR SHOES MORE FREQUENT.

Exactly what I wanted

Bought this product out of whim and have been an Avia customer for quite some time so I am familiar with the sizing of Avia. Packaging wasn't pretty but shoes weren't damaged. Considering buying another pair of these.
