I am a new runner and quite overweight. I usually start running then stop due to feet pain, but I realized recently that the shoes I had been using so far were good looking shoes but I never knew to consider arches or pronation of my foot in my selection.So I did my due diligence and realized the shoes to get are Mizonu, Asics, New Balance or Saucony for companies that make serious running shoes.On going to the shop an intelligent sales person saw my feet and suggested to get Asics and I tried about 5 shoes. Hmmm, good but quite stiff. I did feel my feet were a little suffocated but I guess good runners like that. I am not generalizing but I think the gel takes a bit of time before giving more comfort.I did not try the other 3 brands as the moment I wore Saucony Hurricane 15 I knew I will be getting it. I however did try the triumph 10 and guide 6 and loved the triumph 10 but with the Hurricane 15 i just felt I have more support which I need as a super heavy runner but if the running continues my next one will be the triumph one.I like the look of the shoes and I wish they help me in my quest for loosing some weight.

I already ran twice with it (2X10km) and it is perfect! Very comfortable and very ventilated (perfect for the summer).I'm not sure if it will be as good in the winter as well, but lets wait and see :-)

I forgot to give a review sooner but, I have put close to 250 miles on them and I do not have any pains or aches yet. Also, the shoe is holding up well. I can only see the bottom of the shoe wearing to how I run. As for the fit, I ordered 1/2 size larger then what I wear and imagine that... they are a 1/2 size to big for me. They are a bit long in the toe then I like because of my decision to order larger. I like to tighter fit. I am going to buy a Saucony shoe again when I am ready.
