Love 'em!

Me and my husband are loyal inov-8 customers. I don't run in anything else. We also just stated crossfit a few months ago and these shoes are perfect. They have amazing grip, form to our foot bed, and once they are broken in are more comfortable than my slippers. The toe area is wider in these than the older version and y husband loves that, giving plenty of room for swelling or mobility.

After being satisfied with reviews I bought my first pair of Inov-8 shoes for purely cross training type workouts (currently T25). My feet have never been so happy! Hands down, the most comfortable shoe for this type of workout! I was skeptical because of how flat they are but it's the perfect amount of support for this type of movement. My feet are in between flat and high arched. With other shoes I was wearing (mainly running shoes) I was getting unbearable pains on the outsides of my feet. I usually ended up kicking my shoes off and finishing the workout in my socks. Thank you Inov-8! I will definitely recommend them to others and would buy another pair in a heartbeat!

Excelent choice just what I expected

Avoid hesitation of buying this shoe, first thing first.take a ruler and measure your foot: depending on the result eg. 28cms, that means you'll chose 29 cms, if youre 30 cms that means 31 cms and so on(look for size chart Inov8) it will tell your size comparing cms.for both genresthise advise is only for normal feet. my advise is taking one cm more.I think its ok for width feet as well, take 2cms if you have too width feet. see the size chart.Remember certain things:this is not amateur shoeis flat, flexible,close to the ground,less cushionstablewell madevery light 192 grmsthin rubber sole with enough cushioningif you want to go for running in these shoes! let me tell you: better be prepared to land on forefoot strike ( Minimalist shoe ) dont recomend to buy these if run heellstrike.don't go on long distance, its ok 5 to 10k remenber is better speed and quality of running than long slow pace distance.of course is excellent for crossfitters

The Cascadia 8 was designed from the gritty, wet, and uneven ground up. Engineered to adapt to the surface and your foot, this versatile piece of equipment runs an ultramarathon and then asks for more. We swapped out the midsole for BioMoGo DNA to create a super cohesive transition and deluxe-ified the Segmented Crash Pad on the lateral side to smooth that heel-to-toe even more. The suede geometric pattern on the upper is a shout-out to past Cascadia designs but also serves the function of wrapping the foot for a close fit. Good shoe but does not last on rocky trail

I really liked these shoes when I started wearing them but after 2 months (about 130 miles) on rocky trails they were worn out. Many of the cleats were worn completely and there was a crack in the sole and it was delaminating. I was told that it might be a manufacturing defect so I tried another pair and these seem to be wearing out faster. I talked to someone else that runs the same trail I do and wears these shoes and he had the same experience of soles wearing out fast. Not sure what shoe to try next?

Excellent shoe for comfort, weight and motion control

Everyone's feet are different so fit is a tricky thing to get right. For what it's worth, these shoes are very, very comfortable for light running (on and off road), long walks, or just everyday use. I've tried North Face, Salomons, New Balance, and other brands to find the right fit for my mild overpronation. These are the ones. They tend to run a bit small so a half-size larger might do the trick. They feel so good on pavement and dirt, I've been inspired to start running again...that is until my lungs seize up.

I enjoyed running in the Cascadia 7 and I think that they dialed in the fit a bit more with this version. I really can't think of anything about this shoe I would change outside of making the forefoot just a tad wider, but it never bothered me during runs. If you regularly run in Cascadias you're in the clear, as Brooks didn't depart from the tried-and-true formula here.

wow what a shoe

I was looking for a training shoe for running. I am 6.0 200 pounds mostly neutral slight pronator. this shoe is true to size comfortable right out of the box.Running in the shoes seemed to help my stride.Would buy again and best of all they are made in america ,way to go New Balance!

Great for under 8 miles

I run in NB 880s for runs under 8 miles and NB 1080s for runs over 8 miles. I have no problem at all up to about 9 miles then my feet start hurting in the 880s where as in the 1080s they don't. So I use my 880s for the short days to save a little money and they are perfect for that.

lightest running shoes for me

i use 13 and this is fit for running shoes. i use them for treadmill and they are one of my favourite running shoes. feel thin on the sole as i usually use adidas bounce. material is thin and strong and i feel like running barefoot. this is the lightest shoes i ever wear. no issue on quality, this shoes is adidas. i wear adidas size high school, i wear it now, and i will wear it again.

Amazing

I absolutely love these shoes. I just got them today and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I dont particularly like the material at the front of the shoe. But that is no where near enough of a reason to not buy these shoes. If you are unsure about these shoes. Buy them. They are great.

Awesome Shoes!

Shoe has a lot of cushion for your feet so they aren't sore afterwards. I used to use the New Balance Minimus MX20 for both weightlifting and running, but they started to break down because they weren't made for running too much in. I find these are easier to use for both. I wouldn't recommend deadlifting too much in these as there isn't a 0 drop from heel to toe. As some others have said, they do tend to run a little big, so maybe order a half-size lower. But these are awesome sneakers and I would buy another pair once these get worn out. The colors are also attractive!

Minimal Transition

I wanted to transition from Kinvara's to 'minimal running shoes', and I didn't really want the vibram five fingers, so I took a chance with these wild-looking 'Toxic-6' shoes from UA. UA is 'relatively new' to the running shoe market, but you wouldn't know it. The side-laces, the heel cup, and the use of neoprene are all innovative.Look at the sole! it moves with your toes! Great shoe - I think it is a 4mm drop heel-to-toe, and the out-sole, sol, and footbed add up to a 10mm heel stack, so not quite a 'zero drop' but just the right amount for transitioning.Even with regularly running 25+ miles a week, when I started running in the T6, I had a lot of stiffness in the calves and Achilles. After maybe three weeks, not running more than 5 miles in one session, and doing donkey raises on off-days, I adjusted.Size - the toe-box is 'generous', but the metatarsal cradle holds your foot in place. Haven't had any blisters. I've since ordered a couple more pairs - It'd suck if UA discontinued them. They look wild - get all the colors :-)
