Very disappointing

I am an avid runner (ran 8 marathons last year) and I go through a lot of shoes.I bought these shoes yesterday from another store and I have to say I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. For a premium triathlon shoe, the quality is in fact unacceptable. Out of the box, the seams on the opening of the shoe are not completely sealed, showing some insulation material coming off. Also, the first time I put the shoe on, the pull string at the back of the shoe (to facilitate quick foot insertion) ripped off.Just ran 6 miles with the shoes (without socks) on a treadmill and they felt pretty comfortable. I haven't tried them outside as I am returning them after my first day.I go through about 10 pairs of shoes a year and I have never seen worse performance. I am currently trying Zoot tri shoes which seem a lot better so far.

First, let me just say my order arrived very fast. Most of the sneakers I've purchased lately hurt my feet while at the gym. So far these are comfortable with good support. I have not used them for running.

Not overly impressed for a $100 pair of sneakers

They are not vented, not always easy to tell by the photos these days. I live in Arizona and in the summer I need to have breathable shoes. I do like the way Nike minimized gaps yet kept the sectional sole of the shoe. It makes for great flexibility and reduces the number of rocks that get stuck in the tread. They seem just a little snug and my feet get to hot in them.

Great for heavier runner ! Superb cushioning

Best shoe for a heavier runner ,especially if your putting your custom inserts into them . I like the color ,something different in the 7.This shoe is well over $100 at any shoe store. More fore-foot cushioning than the Pegasus .

Great Walking shoe, too heavy for a race

I ordered a pair and tested and trained in them for a 4 mile race.They are comfortable for a every day jog, and for every day walking.The are too heavy to be a race shoe. The added weight of the cushioning reduces your speed over time.I read other reviews and had hoped it would be a good running/ race shoe.

Perfect for the Northeast and Minimalist Running

I hadn't been running much this winter until I bought these shoes. As I'm coming off a bad injury from slipping on snow, I thought it would be worth it to buy these. They are perfect for dirt roads covered in ice, snow, and slush. The treads are aggressive and the studs grab the ice. I run on minimalist shoes and like that these aren't too bulky and don't have an enormous heel wedge. Also, they are the first pair of waterproof shoes I've had, which made for warm and cozy feet the whole run (novel!) I didn't like the feel on dry pavement, mostly because I was afraid that i was ruining the studs. My hope is to have these shoes for the next couple years.
