Drainage holes channel away water after amphibious activities. A blown-rubber speed pod outsole gives you dependable ground control whenever you set out in the Altra 3 SumTM running shoe.

Awesome shoe with unbelievable comfort in the toe box. Truly a great Tri shoe especially for running with no socks. For anyone with a narrow heal and wide forefoot--this is your shoe. I've definitely found mine.

I have only put about 15 miles on these, but I love them, they are so lite and comfortable. However, the zero drop does make you feel like you are working some muscles for the first time. You can't go wrong with these.

Great Shoe Even for Heavy Runners

Starting my running program for weight loss at 320 lbs was not as painful as in the past due to this excellent shoe! They do run about 1 full size smaller than expected so add a size when ordering. I really do love the cushion as well as the superior light weight and slip on technology! Excellent shoe!

Welcome the Spring/Summer 2013 range. The ASICS GT1000 Running Shoes feature Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems to attenuate shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. An SpEVA 55 Midsole Material employes 55 degree SpEVA lasting material for a soft but stable platform that improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown for a more comfortable and durable ride underfoot. The Dynamic DuoMax Support System comprises of a dual density midsole system positioned to enhance support and stability, specifically positioned for sports. A Trusstic System reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe for a lightweight ride underfoot. With 3M reflectivity, these shoes provide improved visibility when running in low-light conditions. A removable sockliner accomodates a medical orthotic for improved adjustability.

The shoes I purchased were what I expected. I was looking for an inexpensive shoe that I could use for long mileage runs for my marathon training. They fit well and the no tongue design is great if you are like me and hate when the tongue of your shoe slips to the side.

Shoes arrived fast and fit well. For a $120.00 dollars I am still amazed Nike doesnt put much of a insole in a shoe. However, this is a great color combo!

Damn Good Pair of Shoes

They fit just a little tight, but the arch support for my flat feet can't be beat. All I wanted was a pair of shoes that had great support, super grip so I wont slip (pretty sure I can walk on the walls with the tread on these,) fit great, and looked cool. These delivered on all counts! Big fan of the light grey/orange look. I can tell you that I will never buy a pair of New Balance ever again, knowing that Salomon is out there! Took a chance on a unknown (for me) company, and could not be more pleased.

Salomons are amazing!!

This is my third pair of salomons. this does not come with the quick lace system or the ortholite insoles that keep your shoes from smelling (for those of us who hike in the mud) These shoes have the best warranty in the industry and Salomon stands by their product. I have tried to destroy my last pairs and simply cannot. These are amazing. I was introduced to Salomons when I was hiking in Arizona with one of my Special Forces friends. He simply said "you need a pair of salomons" and explained the pair he was wearing had made it thru three deployments! That inspirited me to buy my first pair. To compare- a pair of asics will last me about three months with the amount of running I do. These will last a year to two years. I cant say enough about these shoes. The lace system wraps the shoe around your feet and it keeps your feet flat when you run. I used to get runners knee real bad as I ran long distances, not with the Salomons these have a great platform for running that corrected my pronation tenancies. Buy Salomons you wont be sorry.

People are going to stare at ya!

I bought the red/orange camo pattern shoe, so some of my comments pertain to this specific color and pattern.Overall, I love these shoes. They fit well, a tad snug in the toe box, but I haven't worn them enough to stretch out yet.But, if you get the same color I bought, BE PREPARED FOR GAWKERS. I have had people come at me from the end of the grocery isle just to see these shoes. Kids on the school bus have cheered for my shoes. Even had a Doctor come out of her office just to check them out. What can I say... it takes a strong man to wear these shoes.You'll never be alone when you wear these around town. You've been warned.

NB is Always A Good Choice for My Son

My son saw the camo NB sneakers at a local store but they were over $100 and I'm NOT spending that kind of money on shoes. He originally liked the standard camo colors but when I found this red style on Amazon.com for 1/2 the price, I showed them to him. He loved the pattern and I ordered them.Personally, I think the colors are ugly but my son, husband and pretty much everyone else think they're cool. So far, the wear and tear is very minimal, considering that my 9 year old son wears them quite regularly.
