I'm impressed!!! Get these shoes

I recently bought these shoes for work, as I am on my feet for 8 to 10 hours 5 to 6 days a week. Working in a hospital can be hard on your knees, lower back and feet, so I decided to get something supportive. I read all about these Skechers Shape Ups/Tone Ups and decided to give them a try. I oped for the Tone Ups because they had a more traditional sneaker look to them as opposed to the Shape Ups weird wedge thing. I was skeptical at first as to the effects of these shoes but after a week, I'm sold! I can truly feel the difference on my feet, no more painful heels, and my glutes and legs were burning as if I'd been working out. The best thing about these is the fact they eliminated all my back, heel and knee discomfort from standing and walking all day. I don't know if these will work for everyone, but they definitely worked for me.

A great shoe -- but this is not a running shoe...

You'll love this shoe for walking or standing, but its not for running. I've been running since 1982 and tried these out because they look like a running shoe. They are not for running. However, if you're on your feet for hours, walk a lot, or just want to work a different set of muscles, this is the shoe for you. Can't beat the quality or the price!!! This is my first pair of Sketchers and it won't be my last!

Most comfortable tennis I have ever worn!

Having bought my first pair of these Skechers Men's Cortex Trainers in August of 2011, they have been the most comfortable tennis I have worn. Super soft heel bottom, it's like walking on thick foam, mesh sides and top, your feet stay pretty cool. I added arch support's because I have plantar fasciitis, and now it's almost gone. I have really bad feet over all. These are not for running, but for walking, standing, and every day shoes. Skechers has discontinued these shoes. I found the last two pair on Amazon this past week, September 2012 and bought both pair. For the price, you can't beat these shoes. Averaged $50.00 to $70.00/pair. Skechers should bring these shoe's back on the market! If you have a good product stay with it.

The synthetic/mesh upper provides lightweight, breathablefort and support, while the no-sew material application prevents chafing. The Stabilicore system ensures a smooth transition from heel strike to toe-off, and the ABZORB cushioning softens the ride and lessens shock. ACTEVA Lite material in the midsole is lighter than standard foam and provides optimal resistance topression. The blown-rubber outsole is extremely flexible and adds additional cushioning while providing traction for your run. Wt. 11.9 oz.

new balance perfect fit

I ve been a New balance user for more than 7 years.I had use a lot of models, and as i remember more than 26 pairs.i train more than 100 kilometers a week.but even if the model did not comfort me, the new balance fit is nearly perfect always.

Excellent work shoes

My husband loves the fit of Keen shoes--he has a very high instep and very wide feet, and Keen shoes seem customized for him. These shoes are great if you work in conditions where you're on your feet a lot, and don't know what to expect from your work environment--water, soot, grease, sparks--they handle all of that an d still look great.Because the footbed is so stable, he doesn't miss the ankle support a more conventional work boot would have. Work boots actually bother his ankles a bit because his bones stick out so much, and these don't rub them. I would highly recommend Keen's if you're on your feet a lot and have high arches, and these in particular if you work in some kind of fabrication setting, like an artist's studio, welding shop, hot glass studio, or kitchen.

Most Comfortable Shoes Ever!!

I'm a picky shoe buyer and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have a wider foot, size 13, and these fit like a glove. The first night I wore them I didn't want to take them off when I got home! The color is perfect, not quite black more of a dark brown - a little darker than the picture. I had tried on the NoPo boot, which was a tight fit, but the low is the way to go.

The current model is kind of bulky and fits loose on my feet.Buy these choice If you are looking for really outdoors AND cold weather alternatives. The insulation and water proofing look good and the feet keep really warm (too much for me).Try them up first in a shoe store before buying to be sure this is what are you looking for.

Good Comfortable shoe

These are great walking shoes. They fit well and are comfortable.I would not recommend running in them though, but if you walk fast in these shoes its like running without the strain on your knees.

Skechers SRT - Excellent

I bought these with some intrepidation as I wasn't sure if they were just hype. They arrived in a huge box adorned with lots of fanfare and a DVD (which I still haven't watched). I am a UK 11.5 which equates to a US 12. I have been using them for 2 months now and am surprised how comfortable they actually are. It did take a few days to get used to the movement, but these are now my everyday shoe. I use them for the 2 mile walk to and from my son's school. They push my hips forward and improve my posture when walking. I've tried short gentle jogs with them on and you can definitely feel the muscles, particularly (Calf, Quads, Hamstring's, Glutes and surprisingly Abs) working harder. My wife has commented on how much more defined of my legs and bum are, a compliment like that from a woman is always good and I can see a visible difference myself. At first, when jogging in them, I felt like I had to concentrate on my foot placement as my weak ankle (I broke it in 2009)felt susceptible to twisting, particularly on uneven ground, but I'm happy to say that the more I wore them the better this got and now it's not a problem at all and my ankle actually feels a lot stronger and doesn't hurt anymore after long jogs. Highly recommended.

Light, roomy, soft

I Never liked how the zig sole design looked when they first hit the stores years back, even though I'm a Reebok loyalist. After reading the reviews I finally decided to go with these zig running shoes after my Nike triple shocks running shoes started letting go at the tip of the shoe, and part of the rubber sole came off the bottom of one of the "shocks". I only tried these on for a few minutes the other day and found them to feel bigger / roomier at the front and back than I am accustomed to (size 8.5). I had a thin pair of socks on, so it might be a bit more snug with thicker socks. They walk and run very very nice though. The cushioning is amazingly soft. I would normally travel with my nike's due to lots of walking with backpacks / baggage in airports, etc., but this pair will make walking really comfortable. Running on my treadmill will be great too. Although I'm a bit wary of how long the bonding with the zigs and the shoe base will last. I usually frequent playground type surfaces at outdoor events- and I can see these would be a b!tch to clean when dirt and mud gets in.Agree with the laces becoming loose - but I intend to counter that by tying a double knot, or changing the lace altogether.

These were a little bigger than what I was expecting but it is alright because they are super comfortable. I was very pleased with them and they have turned into my everyday shoe.

Great pair of shoes, comfortable, spring action great for running and a lot of walking. I'm partial to Reebok shoes and these so far have been my favorite over all the Reebok's that I have purchased in the past! Good shoe at a good price. Very HAPPY CUSTOMER!
