I bought this shoe for my teenage son, he loves them! but I paid $100 bucks for these "Nike's" and after him wearing them for less than a day, the toes color is starting to wear or " chip", if u will.....I've owned a lot of Nike's and never had this problem, to me they seem like a Chinatown knockoff.

I ordered and received a size 8 and it was snug. I ran in these a few times, still snug, I should have returned them. I love the weight and feel of these, I may get a larger size.

most comfortable shoes I've ever owned

I have never worn shoes that I have been reluctant to take off. These are perfect. Whether you are running, walking or just wearing them casually, you will not be disappointed. As mentioned by others, do go ahead and get a half size bigger.

Excellent Shoes

I started wearing these shoes a few years ago, before the 2.0. They fit perfect and I have used them in numerous 5 and 10k races. I recently did my first half marathon and the shoes did great. I am glad they went back to the older color scheme, did not care for the white and orange.

-----The Good Stuff------great ventilation and cushioning-lightweight impact protection-really versatile shoe, can wear with almost anything-offers breathability-full mesh upper and phylon midsole-has a cushioned collar for protection around ankle-rubber waffle outsole for traction-lots of cool-----The Not So Good Stuff------they run just a little bit big with the size-----Other Comments-----I have owned many different kinds of nikes and the Nike Roshe Runs have got to be one of the most comfortable shoes that I own.Wearing these shoes makes it feels like you're walking on pillows. They are really stylish also, and Nike offers a wide variety of selection.Really comfortable shoes, with or without socks! The insole and sole are soft yet durable. The mesh top is very breathable.Although these shoes are really stylish and look "cool" I would not recommend running in them. In my opinion, I feel like they arepretty big and too heavy for running. All in all, Nike Roshe Runs are a really comfortable shoe.Review by Anthony Sarmiento

What you can't see in the pictures

What you can't see in the pictures is that the whole inner side of these shoes are BRIGHT GREEN. Regardless, these shoes are comfortable as they can be to walk in. I've never tried running in them yet. 3 stars for the bright green inner side, plus, i saw the exact same shoes at a local shoe store for cheaper.

Best light boots ever

I pulled these out of the box, put them on, and left on a short hike on a sloppy trail. 2 hours and I basically forgot I was wearing them, it was like walking on a sidewalk in tennies. I since have put probably 30 mile of hiking, and 10 of snowshoing in, and I love these boots. Plenty of support, good traction in the slop and snow, and dry and warm. Did I mention how comfortable they are.Best light boots ever!

Great boots, bought two!

I am quite picky with shoes as they must fit perfectly or I cannot stand wearing them. These Northface Hedgehogs are incredible, the fit was spot on and they are very comfortable. I wear them every day and recently bought a second pair to rotate them daily. These are not for heavy hiking, rather, these would be classed as light hiking boots and great for daily street wear.

I really like these boots!They feel so light on your feet,very comfortable except for the insoles,they feel so hard i had to get insoles(sorry i got to say it)so now...i be jell-in.....and that's the reason for the 4out of 5stars!You'd think a company as good as North Face and considering the prices they charge they'd have an insoles that feel like every step you're getting a foot massage!Would i recommend these boots to anyone?Well time will tell how good these boots are and i will definitely put them through many tests and only having used them once so far,i would recommend them!only expect to buy a pair of insoles....

Unique

I consider these shoes to be unique simply because I have never before found a shoe that combines style, support, and a "sporty" feel. Let's be honest, if you care about your feet and your ankles, you should never buy footwear that does not offer adequate support. I have rolled my ankles too many times in the past, so now I need to be pickier with my shoe selection, but I don't want to sacrifice style. This shoe is the first that I have found that really offers it all.The first thing that you will notice is that they are so lightweight. If you have to take off and run for the bus at the drop of a hat, you won't feel clunky or awkward running in these. They really feel like running shoes and you can definitely use them as running shoes even though they are high tops.I gave these shoes 5 stars, although I cannot tell you yet how durable they are yet. I can tell you that they feel solidly built considering how light they are. Also, even though I gave these shoes 5 stars, not all feet are the same and I feel like I took a big risk ordering these without having tried them on beforehand. These shoes are for slightly narrower, longer feet. My feet are a little wider and shorter than average, but these still feel great even though the fit isn't "perfect". I bought a D and I'm not sure if E sizes are available. Either way, I'm happy with these and I will not be looking to change them. I still give these a 5 no matter what. If you're into the high top look but want to have the running show feel, you NEED to at least give these a try.

Pleasant Surprise

I purchased the dark grey and red pair and was surprised how light they were and stylish at the same time. I liked them so much I purchased the yellow pair to play basketball in and also plan to get the green pair as well. One of the best athletic shoes I've owned in a long time and with my running, cross training, and basketball playing I am pleased with my choice 100 percent!!!!

I bought this shoes for my husband and at first look they look a little heavy but once my husband wore them he said that they are light to wear and the fit is perfect from the sides as he has issues with shoes that must of them fit tight from the toes. ...not this one! great item to buy. Thanks.

Run Narrow (compared to Asolo boots)

I own the Asolo Fugitive GTX in normal width and they fit perrrrfect. Really wanted to rock the Rays as an approach shoe, they are comfy and don't seem to need any break-in. These were way narrow on my foot (i wear medium/D width in every shoe I've owned) and the inside raised rubber section indented into my arch. Too bad you can't easily get a larger width version.If your feet run narrow these could be great kicks.
