Pleased Older-Fart

I have always been a person who appreciated good,quality shoes that performed at the price paid for them. Nike has seldom let me down over the years. Starting with the Air Jordans I have been consistingly pleased with the comfort, style, and performance of the Nike brand. At times I have been questioned by friends and family as to why I would pay more when I could get some other name brand, that had as much eye appeal as the nike, cheaper. The simple answer is that they are worth the difference. My latest 2 purchases have been the Air Maxes, the black leather, with green stripe, last year, and the black 2012 version. I don't buy them just for running but for casual wear also. For looks and performance they can not be matched. For the mall, or for the workout, I am rewarded by a shoe that meets and exceeds my highest expectations. Splurge, reward yourself, with a shoe that loves your feet and will be with you for a long time....... Happy Toe Nails

This shoes are great my girl just got them for me yesterday took them for a run today in the morning all I can say its wow I have never I mean never had a shoe that felt this good on my feet and I had tried the Nike free runs asics saucony and many other running shoes when I was in cross country but this shoes are unmatchable down side is they are price but if your the type of person that has a flat foot like me and your back hurts after a long run this shoes will really help with that

One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!

These line of nike roshe flywire's run a little bigger than the regular and og roshes. To adjust simply get .5 size down. The biggest improvement on these is the nylon like material which you never thought nike could have improved on. I have been wearing these sockless since the material feels much more comfortable than your typical cotton socks. Highly recommended as a fashionable walking /occasional jogging shoe.

Shoe I was looking for.

Very quality build and the 10.5 EE fit me perfectly. Extra room in the toe box specifically to prevent black toenails and blisters is perfect for me. After a few runs they are my favorite trail shoe.

Awesome Trail Runner

This shoe is perhaps the best trail runner I have ever owned, period. I am on the heavy side, for a trail runner, and this has the cushioning I like, without feeling like it is forcing me to heel strike. I am still able to run with a fore or midfoot strike comfortably in these and have the protection I want and need on my longer runs and hikes - 20 mile +. I will purchase another pair of these for sure, when the time is right. The traction is great, and the toebox fits my wider foot perfectly - I bout the 2E size in a 10.5 and it fit like a dream, even during a long hard run when the feet swell. Other shoes I have had to go up a size to get the width, but then the heel slips and causes blisters. This shoe did not do that.

Great for big downhills and chossy trails

I moved to this shoe after almost two years trail running and hiking on both the Brooks Cascadia 6 trail runner (Men's 10D) and the New Balance MR842 road runner (Men's 9EE). Both of those shoes were fine for runs and hikes of any distance as long as the trail was pretty mellow. But add big downhills and/or chossy, loose terrain and anything more than two hours turned into a long day outside for my dogs. Especially if I was also carrying a pack. It was hard to get the shoes tight enough to prevent mashing my toes on long descents and at the end of the day ankle support was wanting. The road shoe also had traction problems and both shoes left the bottoms of my feet sore due to their soles' flexibility. As it turns out, I think they were both too narrow for my foot, causing my heel to spill over the heel cup.Enter the New Balance MT1210. I was looking for something with a little more support and rigidity and was willing to sacrifice some trail feel to get it. I originally ordered this shoe in Men's 9EE but they were too narrow in the heel so I sent 'em back for the 9EEEE, which fit much better. However, I don't know if the shoes are sized a little narrow or if my foot is getting fatter. Whether trail running, light hiking, or overnight backpacking, everything is better in these shoes. They provide awesome traction and foot support, and even some ankle support, without giving up any trail feel when compared to my earlier Cascadias and NBs. Toe strike has been non-existent and the bottoms of my feet don't feel bruised at the end of the day. I also appreciated the extra space in the toe box and forefoot.It did take me a few trial runs and walks to get the lacing just right to prevent heel slippage, but it was worth it.
