I bought these to run a Tough Mudder in and I am glad I did. They were very grippy on the slopes & rocks, no shoe laces to worry about getting caught or coming untied and they cleaned up very well. Very comfortable too, I had no blisters or sore feet despite a 10 mile course and little break in time . The tongue and heel have a plasticy feel that takes getting used to but they are not uncomfortable once they are on. The "lace toggle" that tightens the laces is a bit sticky and hard to deal with until I added some cooking oil to the catch to loosen it up. Pricey, yes, but worth it.

Still breaking them in, only put about 60 hiking miles on them. Good traction, hold well to feet.This shoe is narrow and hard to put on. AlsoNot a big fan of the laces. 4 stars is a little generous, truth is if I had it to do over again this would not be my choice. At $150 they are way over priced!!! Damn I need some new hiking shoes...

There has not been a shoe that I have ever had that could compete with this type of shoe. I recommend if they still have them in stock for you to buy a pair because these are the lightest and most durable shoe ever. The picture does not serve any justice because the shoe itself looks 1000 times better in real life than it does in the picture. Oh and it's comfortable very!
